Mujeres y letras

Sumamente sensual.
Contate entre mis musas favoritas.

Gracias totales.

I'll be turning 20 on the 6th, one week from today, and it's impossible not to think of what I have and haven't done with my life....
20. That is 1/4 of life expectancy at birth.... 10,512000 minutes i've lived, loved and laughed...

I am not the person I thought I'd be a couple of years back... I've changed A LOT in the past two years, fortunately... I have done so much in these 20 years, and yet, I still have TONS of things to do, see, discover, learn, eat, love...

I have laughed so much in this life, but haven't smiled.... Bitterness is still my thing... Maybe I should work on that...or not...

I have loved, and been loved back.... I've been jealous out of reason, and out of stupidity... I've said those three words and meant them.... I've said "enough" and walked the other way...
I want to get back on the love game...

Due to my soon-to-be-acquired-new wisdom, I feel I must share all my knowledge with you guys:

-Don't be afraid to like and love something or somebody.
-Know when to say "that's it", "goodbye", "enough", or "the hell with you".
-Realize when you're not happy, or when you're not getting what you really want from something or somebody, and change it.
-Try new things....who knows?
-Study what you like.
-Exploit your talents.
-Like your work.
-Express yourself.
-Live.

Book finished/Año nuevo

First things first, I finally finished reading The Memory keeper's daughter by Kim Edwards. It took me almost 3 years! (I bought it on April 2008)
A few weeks ago, when my holidays started, I set my mind on finishing it. I hadn't even read half of the book, and what I had read was pretty boring....too many descriptions, every character was relevant, many flashbacks....just not my kind of book....
So I took up reading where I had left off last time (probably about 6 months ago...maybe more), and to my surprise a delicate but eye-catching chapter appeared out of nothing and included some meow action (yes...sex....an affair to be more precisely, from the last character you thought would have one)...and well...the book took a major twist and became the most addictive drama I ever read. And with drama, I mean Greys Anatomy's drama, Marley and Me drama, and I am Sam drama, all mixed together. That is serious BS.
I wouldn't like to spoil it for you....but know it's a definitive MUST read.

Terminé The Memory Keeper's daughter!!!....Conocí a mucha gente nueva.... Empecé a tomar té...

Simple....

Life's success formula is quite simple; it doesn't matter if you're a mathematician, anthropologist, artist, cultural manager, or firemen, always

That's what this artist from Singapur is doing (Things we forget): leaving post-it notes to their fate in public places.

That's adding value.

Check it out, I'm sure you'll learn something.

Found a treasure

Yep, that's right. I found a treasure.
A www treasure!

Just visit www.stereomood.com and you'll see what i'm talking about.
Somebody out there (in the world wide web), made playlists according to feelings, moods, and activities. Brilliant.
You can choose a "Candlelit dinner" playlist, a "Feel like crying" playlist, or a "Spring cleaning" playlist.

Hats off to those who came up with the idea.

[That's just fucked up]

Quizá deba optar por inglés o español....no sé.....i like them both equally.

Some of them cry sadness, some love, some pride, some devastation...
I wonder what will mine say...and who will be the one to write it...
To my surprise, half of them were in spanish, and half in english.
Here they are:

(Pure love of course)

"Gone but not forgotten".

"Una flor más para el cielo".

"Rest in peace, perfect peace".  (This one cries love and pride)

"I leave the world without a tear,
save for the friends i love so dear,
to heal their sorrows lord decend,
and to the friendless prove a friend".

"There's no hope without faith, and no life without love".

"Day by day, oh, how we miss her.
Words would fail our loss to tell.
But in heaven we hope to meet her.
Evermore with her to dwell".  (It cries devastation)

"For the present my darling, thou art gone from my sight, to be a dweller in that bright, golden land. Where joys are immortal, where God is the light, and Jesus the centre of the glorifical band".

"Love is eternal". (So true)

"Faith, love, hope, these three, and the greatest of these is love". (These should be everybody's life moto)

*I bow towards Remy's patience and attitude.

Oh God....

Couldn't agree more.
