I'm back
Back from Edinburgh and London :P
As you can see, Scotland's all about it's landscape; everywhere you look you find a lake; everything is upholstered with the greenest green you'll ever see, and you practically never see the sun, which makes it a bit melancholic.
Anyway...bought myself some goodies... 4 new teas, a yellow submarine tea infuser, and a ceramic tea-drinking-travel-mug...
8 books*:
-'Scottish-English' (for the linguistic geeks)
-'A Game of Thrones' (for the HBO series fan geek - yeahhhh!)
-Charles Dickens's 'Great Expectations' (for the classical geeks)
-'Scotland a very quick history' (for the history geeks)
-'Wicked' (The novel that inspired the best musical ever - for the musical geeks)
-Victor Hugo's 'Les Misérables' (for the "I went see the mindblowing musical now I must read the book" geek)
-A beautiful 1932 hard-cover edition of 'The three Musketeers' (for the "I like old hard-cover editions" geek)
-A beautiful recent hard-cover edition of 'The complete tales and poems of Edgar Allan Poe' (for the creepy geek)
I saw in Scotland a small production of "Jesus Christ Superstar", I must admit I hated the movie, but the live musical was great.
In London I saw STOMP! Live percussion with everyday household objects....AMAZING
And of course, I went see Les Mis...."I dreamed a dream" performed by my two platonic loves from Glee...

Some of them cry sadness, some love, some pride, some devastation...
I wonder what will mine say...and who will be the one to write it...
To my surprise, half of them were in spanish, and half in english.
Here they are:
"Viviendo el presente sin ti, esperando el futuro juntos". (Pure love of course)
"Gone but not forgotten".
"Una flor más para el cielo".
"Rest in peace, perfect peace". (This one cries love and pride)
"I leave the world without a tear,
save for the friends i love so dear,
to heal their sorrows lord decend,
and to the friendless prove a friend".
"There's no hope without faith, and no life without love".
"Day by day, oh, how we miss her.
Words would fail our loss to tell.
But in heaven we hope to meet her.
Evermore with her to dwell". (It cries devastation)
"For the present my darling, thou art gone from my sight, to be a dweller in that bright, golden land. Where joys are immortal, where God is the light, and Jesus the centre of the glorifical band".
"Love is eternal". (So true)
"Faith, love, hope, these three, and the greatest of these is love". (These should be everybody's life moto)

Back home
I'm back!!
I've been to Buenos Aires twice this week, and i must say, it drove me crazy...there are just too many people wondering around with nothing to do. I walked A LOT, visited museums, shopped, and went to the theatre...
Goodies bought:
-"China citric rose" tea at Tealosophy
-"Clementine" tea at Tealosophy
-"El baile de las ninfas" tea at Chez Pauline
-"Green Jazmin" tea at Chez Pauline
-Twinings English Breakfast at the Freeshop
-4 Emilio Salgari's books, a new edition of the Sandokan saga, a new edition of The Black Corsair saga, and two other vintage editions of the Sandokan saga. Taschen's Islamic arquitecture and Taschen's Mies van der Rohe. And last but not least, Ink Heart, by german writer Cornelia Fünke (the one i'm reading right now).
-3 pants (=D)
-A shirt
That's it.
On to another subject... I'm really getting into the tea world (see goodies bought), and i've been thinking i'd love to own a little tea shop here in our beloved Montevideo... Something not too big, but not tiny, where you can just sit at a marble top table (or cheaper) and have good tasting tea. Maybe sell some teaware (mainly teapots, i really like teapots), have someone make the house tea blends... With Carla Bruni's soft voice in the background...a couple of bookshelves.... Maybe at sunset, poetry reading or someting like that....
I don't know....it's just a thought...

Au revoir
I'm leaving for Buenos Aires in about 2 hours, so you won't be reading anything until sunday at least....
I'm planning on buying more tea, and visiting another tea house.
I have an exam on monday, meaning i have to study on my trip...it sucks....
Anyway... Have a nice weekend.
Bye :)
