I want you to watch RENT the movie, based on the broadway musical by Jonathan Larson. If you haven't seen it, do. If you have, do it again.
I consider this to be my favorite movie/musical. The actors are great (Idina Menzel I LOVE YOU!!!), the lyrics are great, the music is great. This movie has it all.
For those of you not familiarized with the plot, it's about a group of friends trying to afford rent whilst fighting HIV in a 1989 NYC (a modernized version of "La Bohéme" opera).
If you're not convinced yet, watch this, the opening song from the movie and probably the most known of RENT, Seasons of love.

OMG SIEMPRE QUISE VER ESTA PELÍCULA! :D bah siempre quise ver el musical también, pero aca no esta en cartelera, obligatoriamente la tengo que ver antes de morir, o antes de llegar a los 25 porque de seguro para entonces ya me voy a haber olvidado o no tenga tiempo.

no te voy a decir que siempre la quise ver, pero es de esas cosas de las que uno siempre escucha, y me gustaria conocer un poco mas de esas cosas de las que uno siem pre escucha...

My favourite movie as well, tiene realmente todo. La trama es genial, te hace reir, llorar, amar y odiar a los personajes.. y la musica.. i can't even begin to describe that.

Y si les gusta el ingles, es muy recomendable poner los subtitulos en ingles porque las traducciones de las canciones.. bueno, son mejores en el idioma original :)

Tengo que verla entera, aunque por alguna razón no me cae muy bien Rosario Dawson. Estuvo genial en Sin City, pero aparte de eso...meh.
Sí...concuerdo en que Rosario Dawson es "meh".
